Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina is a South African model who was competing in Miss South Africa 2024, reaching the top 9 finalists, and was called to be removed from the contest. After her removal, she traveled to Nigeria to contest for Miss Universe and eventually won.
South Africans also voted against her in Miss Universe Nigeria by massively voting for Miss Kwara who is chubby and deemed unfit to win the pageant.
Her mother is from Mozambique while her father is from Igbo tribe in Nigeria.
