Content creator Cute Abiola has written an emotional message to a young man whose life he helped transform, marking one of the most significant milestones in their shared journey.
In a post on his Instagram page, Cute Abiola wrote, “”January 21, 2023. That was the day I met Aliu Musa. A young man passionate about aviation, making local drones with his hands and trying to find his way in life. He had the dream, but he didn’t know where that dream would take him.
I decided to believe in him, support him and help him take the next step. From making local drones, to pursuing his aviation training, to becoming a private pilot
And now, becoming a commercial pilot.
Honestly, I can’t fully explain how proud I feel. Looking at his old pictures and seeing where he is today reminds me that sometimes, a dream just needs someone to believe in it. Aliu, I am extremely proud of you. And I am proud to stand beside you today and say, ‘I remember where this journey started.’
I couldn’t become a pilot like I dreamed of when I was in primary school, but today, I’m grateful that I could help make someone else’s dream of becoming a pilot a reality. Sometimes, life doesn’t give you the dream you prayed for. It gives you the opportunity to help someone else live theirs.”
